Bareroot Herbaceous Peonies

We send strong roots of flowering size with a minimum of 3-5 buds. Orders all year round, peonies are sent bareroot in fall (October, November, December) and early in spring (late February and March).

Large globular, very light old rose pink double with darker center; petal edges in center are flecked with crimson. Strong old rose fragrance, strong stems, height of plants 100 cm.

OLD FAITHFUL (Glasscock-Falk 1964)

Flowers large, dark velvet red, double, with heavy substance of the petals. Highly prized, in our opinion, this is the best in its class. Flowers lightly fragrant. Strong stems and healthy, dark green foliage. Excellent as a cut-flower. American Peony Society Gold Medal Winner (1997)...one of the best peonies!

SALMON CHIFFON (Klehm 1981)

Flowers semi-double, large, intense salmon pink. Three rows of petals surround golden-yellow stamens. Flowers cup-shaped, fragrant. Very romantic appearance. Height 85 cm, strong stems, light green leaves. Charming, rarely offered peony, recommended.

Large, very dark red flowers, semi-double to double, fine waxy substance. Bright yellow stamens in the centre are visible during full bloom. Shiny green foliage on strong erect stems, nice purple autumn coloration of leaves.

CATHARINE FONTIJN (Van der Valk/Van der Zwet 1952)

Beautiful double pink flowers blended through white with yellow glow from center. When the flowers mature the yellow stamens become more visible and the petals nearly turn to white. Very fragrant. An excellent cut flower. Vigorous grower, very floriferous.

Flower simple - japanese form, magenta or deep burgundy guard petals and a somewhat flattened center of petaloids which are creamy white and drenched with many tints of pink. A couple of magenta petals are always poking through in this center dome, adding much to the excitement of these flowers. Nice dark green leaves and very rigid stems, excellent upright habit. GARDENIA (Lins 1955)

Full double white flowers with the occasional yellow stamen visible in the center of the large blooms. 'Gardenia' is named after the genus to which the flower form is very comparable to. Many sidebuds, providing an optional prolonged blooming season. Flowers delightfully fragrant, suitable to cutting. Dark green and fairly coarse leaflets on thick stems, fine plant habit.

Soft salmon pink single flowers are saucer-shaped. Opening buds hold a true perfect cup-shape for a long time.
