Bareroot Herbaceous Peonies
We send strong roots of flowering size with a minimum of 3-5 buds. Orders all year round, peonies are sent bareroot in fall (end of October, November, December). Peonies ordered from January to March will be sent in early spring (March).
ATTENTION!!! Please order peonies separately, without other perennials (i.e. without irises, daylilies and hostas)

anomala
Flowers simple, purplish pink with striking yellow stamens, 8 cm in diameter. After flowering, it produces interesting fruits with shiny black seeds. Very decorative, finely dissected leaves, grows to a height of about 80 cm. Very hardy peony for sunny to semi-shady locations and neutral to calcareous soils, suitable for natural gardens. I am sending three-year-old plants planted in a 2 l container.
cf. smouthii (Smouth 1845)
Flowers single, pinkish red. Compared to true P. x smouthii, the plants offered have somewhat wider leaves, their flowers are larger, rather pinkish-red than deep red. Flowers slightly fragrant, sterile. They bloom very early. The leaves are highly decorative even after flowering, plant height approx. 60 cm. A wonderful border plant...
officinalis 'Anemoniflora'
Flowers 10 cm in diameter, simple to semi-double, pink to pinkish red, early flowering. Height only 40-50 cm. Peony for sunny or semi-shady places, suitable for natural gardens.
